FORT HOOD, Texas – This is the live blog for the six undercard bouts on the UFC’s “Fight for the Troops” show at Fort Hood, Texas. The event is being attended exclusively by enlisted military personnel and also serves as a fund raiser by the UFC and Spike for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.
For the first time, four of the six preliminary card fights will be streamed live on the promotion’s Facebook page for fans who “like” the UFC. Yves Edwards-Cody McKenzie, Mike Guymon-DaMarques Johnson, Mike Brown vs. Rani Yahya and Willamy Freire vs. Waylon Lowe will be available online.

Waylon Lowe used his superior wrestling to win the first two rounds, then hung on to survive the third round and earned a hard-fought unanimous decision over Willamy Freire at the UFC Fight for the Troops 2.
All three judges scored the fight 29-28 for Lowe, handing him a win that improves Lowe’s professional MMA record to 10-3. Freire falls to 18-4.

After UFC heavyweight Junior “Cigano“ dos Santos finishes with his job of coaching on the upcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter” 13, he’ll prepare to face opposing coach Brock Lesnar later this summer in a #1 contenders bout.
“Cigano’s” boxing coach, Luis Carlos Dórea feels his fighter already has an edge over his opponent noting that Lesnar’s greatest weakness is his striking and it’s something they’ll be able to exploit at UFC 131 in June.
Dórea spoke to Tatame.com about “TUF 13″ and the upcoming bout.
It’ll be a great fight. Brock Lesnar is strong, but we know where he hides his weakness. Cigano has always faced the bests, since he debuted against Werdum, he has only confronted top athletes. I trust he’ll keep trying to get the KO. Brock is very strong, a wrestler, but we know his weakness. His weak point is exactly CIgano’s strong point: striking. We know it’ll be a great show, Cigano will go for the knockout and he has all weapons to get there with a win and keep his journey to the belt.
