Paddy Pimblett and Jake Paul may be on a collision course. Earlier this week, the English-born Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett accused professional boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul of having fixed matches.

In professional boxing, Paul has earned a perfect 6-0 record with four of these wins coming by way of KO/TKO. He has earned notable wins over Anderson Silva, Ben Askren, and Tyron Woodley, among others. On the legitimacy of these matches, Pimblett said:

“Jake Paul is actually not that bad now, even though I think his fights are fixed … I don’t think the Tyron Woodley knockout was fixed because when you get knocked out like that and you land face first, if you’re not unconscious you’re going [puts arms out]. You can’t help it. That’s a human reaction. But I seen an angle of a punch he hit Anderson Silva with the other day when he sat down, and he didn’t even hit him.”

Paddy Pimblett and Jake Paul agree on a showdown

Upon hearing this, ‘The Problem Child’ Paul called out ‘The Baddy.’ Jake Paul challenged Pimblett to a sparring match and added that if the English fighter wins he’ll be paid $1,000,000 from Paul. However, if Jake Paul wins, Pimblett has to start working for Paul’s fighters union United Fighters Association.

Paddy wasted little time responding:

“Challenge accepted … If you want to come and spar get to the PI next week. I fight next Saturday, I’ll chill Sunday, and I’ll beat you up Monday.”

‘The Baddy’ Paddy Pimblett has an upcoming fight at UFC 282. The lightweight fighter will be facing Jared Gordon On December 10 in Las Vegas. After he is done with that Saturday night fight, he will be ready for Jake Paul on Monday.

Jake Paul

Undefeated professional boxer, Jake Paul, has once again called for a bout with Nate Diaz upon the Stockon native’s official exit from the UFC this week, urging the former welterweight and lightweight contender to meet him in the ring rather than a hallway this time.

Paul, who boasts an undefeated 6-0 professional record, headlined an October event this year against former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, securing a unanimous decision victory over the Brazilian – which included a final round knockdown in favor of Paul.

However, in the run-up to the fight, Jake Paul and his entourage were involved in a backstage physical altercation with The Ultimate Fighter victor, Diaz – with security personnel corralling members from both sides and preventing a full-blown quarrel.

Following his impressive victory over the veteran Curitiba native, Paul called for both fights against either Diaz, or super middleweight boxing champion, Canelo Alvarez.

Earlier this Tuesday night, reports confirmed how Diaz, a one-time lightweight title challenger under the banner of the UFC, was now free to test free agency after his period of exclusivity with the promotion had expired.

Jake Paul makes a play to land a fight with Nate Diaz next

Chomping at the bit for his next outing within the squared circle, Paul once more echoed shouts for a matchup against fan-favorite veteran, Diaz.

“Hi Nate [Diaz],” Jake Paul tweeted. “Finally out of your UFC contract? Let’s see how tough you are in the boxing ring instead of hallway slaps contests. @NateDiaz209. I have a venue booked. Offer is ready when you are. Just need you to sign.”

Exiting the UFC on cordial terms as per his manager, Zach Rosenfield, Diaz still remains open to the possibility of securing a trilogy rubber match against former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, Conor McGregor in the future, in fact.

“This does not shut the door on Diaz continuing to stay in the UFC,” Rosenfield said. “With the pending return of Conor McGregor, that fight still remains extremely appealing to both fans, the promotion, as well as Diaz and McGregor. But what is clear is that the long-awaited Nathan Diaz free agent sweepstakes have officially begun.”

Paul’s victory over Silva earlier this year added to a resume in professional boxing which includes knockout wins over former UFC welterweight features, Tyron Woodley, as well as Ben Askren.

Paddy Pimblett has claimed that Jake Paul’s recent boxing match with former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva was fixed.

Jake Paul was been on a run of fights vs. retired or former UFC fighters, having taken on the likes of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, and most recently, Anderson Silva. ‘The Problem Child’ is undefeated, having amassed a pro record of 6-0, with 4 wins coming via KO.

Unsurprisingly, Paul has few friends in the world of MMA right now. One man who is clearly no fan of the YouTuber turned boxer is surging UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett, who had the following to say during an appearance on Pub Talk:

“They are a gang of idiots. I give Jake Paul his due now, he’s training that much he probably could beat some professional boxers.”

“He’s got unlimited funds and he hasn’t got to do anything else, he hasn’t got to go and do a job all he’s got to do is box,” continued Paddy Pimblett. “And he gets the best coaches in, the best nutritionists in, and stuff like that. Jake Paul is actually not that bad now, even though I think his fights are fixed.”

‘The Baddy’ admits that Jake Paul’s KO win over Tyron Woodley appears legit, but is not convinced of ‘The Problem Child’s’ win over Anderson Silva.

“I don’t think the Tyron Woodley knockout was fixed because when you get knocked out like that and you land face first, if you’re not unconscious you’re going [puts arms out]. You can’t help it. That’s a human reaction.”

“But I seen an angle of a punch he hit Anderson Silva with the other day when he sat down, and he didn’t even hit him.” (H/T MMA Weekly)

It is unclear who Jake Paul will fight next, although Nate Diaz is a name that has been floated as a potential opponent. Tommy Fury also has a longstanding rivalry with ‘The Problem Child’ and would be a valid next step for the 6-0 boxer.
