Dillon Danis didn’t have the best night at UFC 268 — and that was confirmed by former middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

Both Danis and Bisping were in attendance at New York’s Madison Square Garden last night for the stacked UFC 268 pay-per-view event.

Danis — who has sparred with Bisping on social media in recent weeks — continued their rivalry by claiming the latter ran when he saw him.

A number of tweets were since deleted.

“Just ran into @bisping turn around and ran

“hey @bisping we got eye witness you running away don’t ever talk anymore i am your daddy”

Bisping Confirms Danis Slap Story

Bisping responded by corroborating Sunday’s story that Danis was slapped by MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz before getting ejected from the event.

“So pathetic. FYI people, dildo was legit slapped in the face like a b*tch backstage and then ejected and banned from all Ufc events. Haha.” (via @hqtred)

Nobody knows what happened for sure.

But if true, Danis continues to take Ls after Ls — especially after his incident from a couple of months ago when he was choked out by a bouncer.

Should Dillon Danis simply give up his tough guy facade after his latest embarrassment?

Dillon Danis has been taking massive L’s lately and according to a report from MMA journalist John Morgan, the Bellator prospect took another one last night.

The MMA Junkie reporter took to social media in the early hours of Sunday morning to reveal that Danis was ejected from the biggest card of the year after clashing with Abdelaziz backstage.

“Ali Abdelaziz slapped Dillon Danis backstage tonight at #UFC268 according to multiple people who witnessed the incident,” Morgan wrote on Twitter. “Danis was then apparently removed from the building. Reached out to @AliAbdelaziz00, but he declined to comment.”

The pair have a history that stems from the rivalry between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, who Abdelaziz managed during his fight career. In the aftermath of UFC 229, you’ll remember that Nurmagomedov scaled the cage to confront Danis after beating McGregor and started a riot. The beef between ‘The Eagle’ and ‘Notorious’ hasn’t really subsided since then and it appears things may have boiled over again at UFC 268.

Dillon Danis Can’t Stop Taking L’s Right Now

The 2-0 MMA prospect has been sidelined for quite some time after undergoing surgery on his knee. Despite that, Danis has continued to talk smack on social media to any and all fighters, regardless of weight class or promotion.

So, the majority of people from the combat sports world were glad to see Danis get his comeuppance during a recent trip to the Jersey Shore.

In September, Danis was arrested in Seaside Heights and was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at a nightclub.

A bad night got worse for Danis when footage of his arrest began to circulate online. The clip showed the BJJ specialist being choked out by a security guard before his arrest.

Danis has since explained how he ended up getting tapped by a civilian and claims the man in question could face jail time for impersonating a police officer.

What do you think Dillon Danis said to get a slap from Ali Abdelaziz at UFC 268?

Diego ‘The Nightmare’ Sanchez wants Dillon Danis in a bare-knuckle fight on a Gamebred FC card sometime in the future.

Gamebred FC is promoted as the first-ever bare-knuckle MMA fighting championship, according to their website. The whole premise is finding the next ‘Gamebred’ Jorge Masvidal. Masvidal got a lot of recognition for being featured on Kimbo Slice’s backyard bare-knuckle fighting. Those YouTube videos captivated an entire generation and even got Slice himself a UFC shot.

Danis had recently called out Sanchez as one of the fighters he would want to fight sometime in the future.

Sanchez is open to fighting Danis after he called him out to see if Danis is really about it, or just simply chasing his clout.

“There’s a guy out there. His name is Dillon Danis and he was on the MMA Hour yesterday, saying how he wants to fight me when he comes back from his injuries. So, hey, Jorge, there’s your main event right there buddy. Everybody wants to see Dillon get beat. I’m the legend to do it. Let’s take the gloves off and see if this troll talker really is a fighter,” Sanchez said. (Sportskeeda)

Sanchez is considered a pioneer of the sport and despite his recent skid and weird situation with his trainer Joshua Fabia, many fans still love ‘The Nightmare”. It’s not a reach to say that most MMA fans would love to see Sanchez teach Danis a lesson.

Danis only has two fights inside the octagon with Bellator. He won them both via submission in the first round of the fights.

Sanchez, the original Ultimate Fighter winner hasn’t had a legitimate win (he had a DQ win over Michel Pereira as well) since 2019 when he beat Mickey Gall. It would be nice to see him get back into the win column if he decides to continue his MMA career.

Diego Sanchez is looking for a bare-knuckle fight with Dillon Danis.

There could be some unusual matchmaking going on for an upcoming Gambred FC fight card. Former UFC vet, Diego Sanchez is looking to make his bare-knuckle MMA debut and he knows exactly who he wants to fight and where. Sanchez has called out Bellator’s Dillon Danis for a future Gambred FC card.

“There’s a guy out there. His name is Dillon Danis and he was on the MMA Hour yesterday, saying how he wants to fight me when he comes back from his injuries,” Sanchez said to Robin Black on Instagram. “So, hey, Jorge, there’s your main event right there buddy. Everybody wants to see Dillon get beat. I’m the legend to do it. Let’s take the gloves off and see if this troll talker really is a fighter.”

Sanchez was released from the UFC back in April. Since then he has not been signed to any promotion. He did have some interest in joining the BKFC and was even close to signing with them. He spent 16 years with the UFC before the release. Even after such a long career, Sanchez isn’t ready to quit, but he may hang up his gloves.

He first began to show interest in Jorge Masvidal’s bare-knuckle organization over the summer, but now has doubled down on it with the Danis callout. Danis was the one who first began the trash talk when he asked for Sanchez in an MMA bout on his recent appearance of The MMA Hour.

Danis himself has not fought since June of 2019. He had two MMA fights in Bellator but has been dealing with injuries every since. He was recently arrested at a bar in New Jersey. Although Danis is now an MMA fighter, he is more widely known for his grappling skills.

Who do you think would win a bare-knuckle MMA bout between these two men?

Dillon Danis is back to his old ways calling out Diego Sanchez, Michael Page, and Jake Shields.

Danis hasn’t fought since Bellator 222 back in 2019 where he won via armbar. The BJJ has been battling injuries since his second fight under the Bellator banner. Danis was on ‘The MMA Hour’ talking about his possible matchups in his future.

“My comeback fight is either gonna be Jake Shields or Diego Sanchez. That’s who I wanna fight when I come back… I can send you the messages that Diego says. That motherf***er’s crazy. So if he wants to get it, I told him too, I was like, ‘Bro I’m gonna hurt you so bad…’ Jake Shields can get it too. John Wayne Parr. I don’t care who it is. I’m gonna come back and gonna fight one of them. Even Michael ‘Venom’ Page, I’ll fight him. He’s so bad.” Danis Said. (Sportskeeda)

Danis may be biting off more than he can chew when calling out these fighters. He only has two professional fights. He has won them both, but all these guys he has named are considerably better than him and any of the fighters he has faced thus far. To call Michael Page “So bad” is an obvious troll job and just to get his name back in the MMA news.

Danis has been known to run his mouth and many consider him to be one of the more annoying figures in the MMA world. His mouth had gotten him in trouble a few weeks ago at a bar in New Jersey. He was arrested after not showing his ID to the bouncer at a bar. He ran his mouth and forced the bouncer to put him in a chokehold where he ended up tapping out to the bouncer and subsequently being arrested.

Could Dillon Danis beat any of the guys he called out?

Dillon Danis has had his disorderly conduct case in New Jersey delayed after the security personnel who removed him from the Beachcomber Bar and Grill was allegedly impersonating a police officer during the altercation.

According to court documents, Danis was involved in an altercation with a few patrons at the bar when officers intervened. Bizarrely, Danis said on Monday that the officers who arrested him only kept him in jail for 20 minutes, saying that they were fans of his.

Now, he is accusing the original security guard at the bar of impersonating a police officer just minutes before the actual officers arrived. He details the whole ordeal during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.

Danis says the whole incident began after he didn’t bring his ID and the bar’s staff got in his face and heated.

“I’m not allowed to move, so I’m standing on the boardwalk — I would have left,” Danis said. “But when you’re in those places, if you call an Uber, it takes an hour for them to come. They started saying some derogatory terms; I’m not going to bring them up.”

“They start going at everybody and I’m like, ‘Bro, come on.’ They bring a bunch of bartenders from inside, and it’s like nine people, and they surround me,” Danis continued. “So nine guys are around me, and I’m friggin’ on a leg brace. I just had surgery. I’m not allowed to turn my leg, so I can’t box. So then they all start circling me.”

Dillon Danis is a longtime training partner of UFC star Conor McGregor

Danis was seen on CCTV footage getting physical with one of the responding officers, but he thinks that the truth that will come out of his case will exonerate him from any wrongdoing.

Despite Danis’ comments to Helwani, he has a history of snapping in public. He was a key factor in the infamous post-fight brawl following Conor McGregor vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov and was arrested last year on charges of assaulting a Las Vegas police officer.

Danis hasn’t competed in the cage since 2019 due to lingering health issues.
