Dillon Danis teased a potential fight with KSI for his planned return to combat sports in August.

Taking to Instagram to hint at the possible showdown, Danis directed his fans to the story of Briton’s latest boxing bow, Misfits boxing.

YouTube sensation KSI announced his return to action after a three-year hiatus from exhibition matches. KSI’s last outing was a winning effort against Logan Paul in a rematch in 2019. While he confirmed the date for his boxing comeback, few details have been shared regarding who the opponent will be with Alex Wassabiy leading the race.

Danis requested his fans to visit the Misfits’ Instagram story and vote on the poll asking who would win in a matchup between KSI and himself. It seems like the public has a pretty strong opinion on the probable fight with 80 percent voting for KSI to defeat Danis.

Dillon Danis also retweeted another Tweet suggesting his fight against KSI.

“BREAKING: @KSI potentially fighting @dillondanis on August 27th! See @ksinews_

Dillon Danis recovering from leg injury

Having only two MMA fights on his professional record, Dillon Danis may be more known for his affiliation with Conor McGregor than his fighting abilities. Although he’s been involved in a long-term feud with another YouTube star, Jake Paul, Danis has never fought inside the ring.

Jake uploaded a video of a drive-by water attack on Danis that went viral. Paul shut down all talks of fighting Danis after talks between the two camps collapsed.

Another teammate of Danis, Peter Queally detailed his struggles with a leg injury that held him back from fighting Paul. “He’s open to boxing if the right fight comes along,” Queally said. “If the right kind of marquee boxing match came along, like this Jake Paul fight which was a possibility for a while.

“Maybe it’s not now because Jake has gone on and won a lot of big fights since then and maybe he’s looking for something else. But that was a real possibility for a while, that was more or less done him and Dillon so I could see a fight like that happening. I hope he’ll fight next year, he just had surgery I think in July and that was his second one.”

Queally shared that Danis is recovering from a second surgery and expects him to return to fighting in MMA.

“He had to go back and do a second one and he’s recovering from that, it’s quite a serious surgery. He needs to recover from that and then I could see him fighting next year – I would bet on MMA.”

The rivalry between Dillon Danis and Michael Bisping appears to be never-ending at this point as the duo have been trading shots at each other for what seems like an eternity.

During a recent Q&A session on his YouTube channel, Bisping explained why Danis’ BJJ skills are pretty much useless in an actual street fight, he said.

“Dillon Danis, you shoot for a man’s leg on the street, I’m gonna stomp on your head. And, by the way, someone else is probably gonna run up and boot you in the face. You’re on the floor, you’re about to go for an Omoplata? Someone just stomps you’re f***ing head. There you go, jiu-jitsu that, you know what I mean?” (Transcribed by Sportskeeda)

The 2-0 Bellator prospect clearly doesn’t agree with Bisping’s assessment of the usefulness of BJJ in a street fight and proposed scrap it out, with the winner taking home $100,000.

“hey @bisping why don’t we put this to the test 100k to you if i lose. you one eyed bitch,” Danis tweeted.

Dillon Danis Has Taken A Few L’s Lately

Danis has been sidelined for quite some time after undergoing surgery on his knee.

Despite that, Conor McGregor‘s teammate has continued to talk smack on social media to any and all fighters, regardless of weight class or promotion.

So, the majority of people from the combat sports world were glad to see Danis get his comeuppance during a recent trip to the Jersey Shore.

In September, Danis was arrested in Seaside Heights and was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at a nightclub.

A bad night got worse for Danis when footage of his arrest began to circulate online. The clip showed the BJJ specialist being choked out by a security guard before his arrest.

Since then, Danis has been slapped by Ali Abdelaziz and kicked out of UFC 268.

The 28-year-old was also put on blast by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.

Dillon Danis has made the headlines again after responding to the harsh onslaught received by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.

Last week Ariel Helwani praised Jake Paul for his challenge to UFC president Dana White, and as expected, it didn’t sit well with the Bellator fighter giving the history between the two athletes. Danis then made the following comment: “Ariel you’re a b*tch”.

Ariel Helwani engaged in a war of words with Dillon Danis, throwing shade left and right, to much delight of the MMA community.

Ariel Helwani Roasts Dillon Danis

”Guys if you think life sucks right now just think you could have begged for 3 years to fight an 0-0 YouTuber and 3 years later still not be popular enough or good enough to even be considered a worthy opponent for him. Imagine that. In other words, you could be Dillon Danis.”

Ariel Helwani wasn’t quite done there as he continued to roast the middleweight fighter.

“Hey guys follow me real quick and I’ll follow you back and pay you 1k. Ffs. Get a grip Dillon. Who acts like this? 3…2…1 before ol DD texts me hey bro why don’t you like me? Like, I thought we were cool bro. Can’t wait for the witty tweet reply, too. And then he’ll call for a truce and then ask me to RT his tweets every two seconds. What a pleasure.”

One week post Ariel Helwani’s verbal attack, Dillon Danis took to Twitter to fire back.

Dillon Danis Responds

“Ariel It’s bad enough you’ve been fired by every media outlet Don’t beg for crumbs from joke Paul by attacking me Just fade into oblivion.”

“Took me awhile to read your insipid, bland, lifeless, Junior High ‘Journalism’. You’re a terrible writer. What did you do w/the $ your Mommy gave you for writing lessons? God knows you didn’t buy a gym membership with it Your arms look like car antennas.”

Dillon Danis continued to strike, offloading several more Tweets.

“You’re a guy with ONE Shirt and ZERO Original Ideas. If you couldn’t beg fighters into giving you material you’d be making money being a fluffier for your wife’s boyfriend.”

“You’re lucky you weren’t born before cars had power steering or your wife would hafta park the car Your autobiography is going to be called NOBODY LEFT TO GET FIRED BY.

Furthermore, the insults weren’t enough for Dillon Danis, who challenged Ariel Helwani to a fight and proposed he would only use one arm.

There has been no response from Ariel Helwani yet, but we expect the verbal battle to continue, and certainly don’t expect to see Dillon Danis feature on The MMA Hour moving forward.

Ariel Helwani embraced his “Heelwani” side even more on Saturday by ending Dillon Danis on social media.

Danis mocked Helwani and called him a b*tch after the veteran MMA reporter showed support for Jake Paul and his challenge to UFC president Dana White.

That led to Helwani not holding back whatsoever as he proceeded to roast Danis.

“Guys if you think life sucks right now just think you could have begged for 3 years to fight an 0-0 YouTuber and 3 years later still not be popular enough or good enough to even be considered a worthy opponent for him. Imagine that. In other words, you could be @dillondanis.

“Hey guys follow me real quick and I’ll follow you back and pay you 1k. Ffs. Get a grip Dillon. Who acts like this?”

Helwani also poked fun at the fact that Danis said he would retire if Paul was ever able to sleep him like he did to Tyron Woodley. Danis, however, hasn’t competed in combat sports since June 2019.

“‘Hey guys if I lose to Jake I’ll retire.’ Retire from what? Social media? You already don’t fight.

“3…2…1 before ol DD texts me hey bro why don’t you like me? Like, I thought we were cool bro Can’t wait for the witty tweet reply, too. And then he’ll call for a truce and then ask me to RT his tweets every two seconds. What a pleasure.”

Helwani ended things by hoping Danis gets what he wants.

“Anyway. Maybe this will be the year he accepts your challenge Dillon!! I personally hope he does so you can leave us the f alone with your stupid tweets and lame social media skilllz Save us, @ScottCoker. The begging is unbecoming. Please. For the love of God save us.”

Ariel Helwani Comes Out On Top

Danis — who deleted the initial tweet calling Helwani a b*tch — has not responded as of yet and it’s hard to see how he does so without looking bad.

All in all, this looks like a win for Helwani.

Tyron Woodley

Former UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley thanks Dillon Danis after his ‘no knockout clause’ comments landed Woodley a larger payout in his second bout against Jake Paul.

Danis, who has made his name trolling everyone in the MMA world from Michael Bisping to Khabib Nurmagomedov. The former IBJJF world champion has made many outlandish claims such as being the best grappler in MMA but the claim that Woodley was not allowed to knock out Paul due to a clause in the contract picked up some steam online.

Woodley recently joined Ariel Helwani on the latest episode of ‘The MMA Hour’ to discuss his impending rematch with Paul when the no knockout clause was brought up. Woodley had this to say “why has he become a valid source to anybody, like I’m surprised you have him on the show as much as you do.

“If people wanna talk about stuff, I’m gonna let them talk about it. That’s how the sport works; whether it’s good or bad. Like, I’m not on Jake’s PR team, shit, it ain’t my job to give him credibility and like make people believe that he’s the real deal. That’s his people and people who think there was some knockout clause, based upon Danis who, how would he have access to my contract?”

Helwani would press for a definitive yes or no, “No.” Woodley stated “but it’s a clause [in the rematch] that says if I knock him out, they give me some extra cheese on my macaroni. And you know what, I wanna thank Dillon actually, because he made that dumbass remark. Now, son, I get more money.”

Tyron Woodley’s New Contract Clause

Paul was originally scheduled to face Brit, Tommy Fury on December 18th but after Fury withdrew, Woodley would step in on late notice. Maybe due to all the controversy surrounding the bout and the ‘no knockout clause’, Woodley had supposedly been awarded with a knockout bonus. Paul would announce via his Instagram that “he {Woodley} is getting an extra $500,000 if he knocks me out.” Something that Woodley would later confirm in the interview.

What do you think? How will the rematch between Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul go?

Bellator fighter Dillon Danis allegedly got into a physical altercation with MMA manager Ali Abdelaziz at UFC 268 and got slapped by him.

Danis has become a noteworthy social media personality in the world of combat sports, mostly for arguably the wrong reasons. He hasn’t competed in the Bellator cage since 2019 due to a series of injuries he’s been dealing with.

Abdelaziz is arguably the most well-known MMA manager in the game, representing championship-level fighters such as Kamaru Usman and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Despite his professionalism in the field, he’s also had his fair share of run-ins with adversaries of his clients.

Abdelaziz has made his opinions of Danis’ training partner, former UFC champion Conor McGregor, well-known since McGregor fought Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. Danis got into a post-fight brawl with Nurmagomedov in the stands in arguably one of the darkest moments in the sport’s history.

Things haven’t changed since then, as Danis and Abdelaziz nearly fought while both were in attendance at UFC 268 at Madison Square Garden. The news of the incident was first reported by MMA Junkie reporter John Morgan over the weekend.

Dillon Danis And Ali Abdelaziz Got Into It At UFC 268

“Ali Abdelaziz slapped Dillon Danis backstage tonight at UFC 268 according to multiple people who witnessed the incident,” Morgan tweeted. “Danis was then apparently removed from the building.”

“Reached out to [Abdelaziz], but he declined to comment.”

Video of the alleged incident hasn’t been made available to the public, despite multiple witnesses to the Danis/Abdelaziz confrontation. But, Morgan is arguably one of the most trustworthy media personalities in the business and is respected by many in the field.

Danis constantly attempts to stir the pot around the MMA community, and many believe he may be going down the wrong path in his professional career.
