In classic fashion, Conor McGregor took to Twitter after the Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis fight and shared some brutally honest thoughts about the bout and performances by both men.

Danis and Paul finally threw down after years of beef at Misfits Boxing: The PRIME this Saturday. Despite some dramatic buildup, it really wasn’t much of a fight. With, Danis refusing to truly box, and instead opting to just utilize any bit of his grappling that he could. It was a bizarre turn of events and actually led to ‘El Jefe’ getting DQ’d in the sixth round after he attempted a takedown and then took a swing at the security guard who was trying to break it up.

Despite the weird way that the fight drew out, it seemed Conor McGregor was a fan of the drama. After the fights, ‘The Notorious’ took to Twitter in classic fashion to give his opinion on the matter.

Conor McGregor claims he was impressed with Dillon Danis, takes a shot at Nate Diaz

With a flurry of now-deleted tweets, McGregor lofted praise upon Danis and took a shot at his old rival. “I was impressed by (Dillon Danis),” McGregor said (H/T Bloody Elbow).

“I’ll tell you what,” Conor McGregor continued. “It was better than Nate Diaz doing anything. That was a show!”

During his post-fight interview, Logan Paul opened up about some of the challenges he faced heading into this fight with Danis. He claimed it was made even more rough due to the constant harassment he received online from Danis and others during the leadup to the fight. McGregor would also touch upon this in his tweets.

“Are you not entertained! I was impressed,” Conor McGregor continued in a now-deleted voice note (H/T Happy Punch). “Good shots, (Danis) needs to believe in his shots more and more and let them go, some of them were alright. Some of them he was throwing were alright, he just needed to let them go a bit more.”

“What did your man do anyway, he didn’t even wobble him, he didn’t even hurt him, you little fool,” McGregor mocked. “You were in a dark spot? Guess what mate, you’re back in a dark spot now, back into the locker room…thinking about all the s—t you’ve been going through. You’re still in a dark spot, bro. You’ve done nothing! You’ve done nothing!”

Dillon Danis returns to social media following lackluster performance against Logan Paul: ‘UFC next’

Dillon Danis may have offered little in the way of offense against Logan Paul, but that didn’t stop him from talking trash following the loss.

On Saturday, Danis showed up in Manchester for his highly anticipated clash with the social media star and delivered a lackluster performance that saw him offer up next to nothing on the offensive side of things. For six rounds, Danis kept his guard high and opted to stand there and absorb a plethora of punishment from Paul. To his credit, Danis never once went down, even when Paul occasionally turned up the heat, but Danis looked absolutely clueless in a sport where striking is the only way to win.

Of course, that didn’t stop the BJJ specialist from taking to social media shortly after the uneventful affair, suggesting that after making his pro boxing debut, the Octagon is next.

UFC next,” Danis wrote on X.

Dillon Danis and Logan Paul Continue Their War of Words on Social Media

Logan Paul offered his thoughts on the affair in the hours after the chaos had called and, unsurprisingly, had some unsavory words for his opponent on the night.

“Honestly nothing to be proud about. That dude sucks, a real c*nt. I’m gonna go back to living my life but felt good to beat his a** for 6 rounds and let him embarrass himself. Drink prime,” Paul posted.

That generated a quick response from Danis who said:

A Jiu Jitsu guy with no boxing camp or coach made his debut, never wobbled, never dropped, had no standing 8 count, and rocked you multiple times,” Danis replied. “If I were Nina, I’d call off the wedding. You achieved nothing in your own sport, MMA next.”

But Logan Paul wasn’t the only fighter to suffer Dillon Danis‘ wrath in his post-fight tirade on X. He also shared an image of former UFC star Nate Diaz shortly after getting dropped by Jake Paul during their August showdown in Dallas, Texas with the caption, “Never me.”

It seems that the war of words between Dillon Danis and Logan Paul is far from over, but it’s safe to say that nobody is clamoring to see them run it back inside the squared circle anytime soon.

Darren Till claims he would comatose KSI, Dillon Danis, Tommy Fury and Logan Paul after Misfits boxing match

Former UFC title challenger, Darren Till reacts to last nights Misfits boxing card, labelling the top two fights as an ‘atrocity’.

After all the build-up, all the talk, KSI, Dillon Danis, Logan Paul and Tommy Fury put on what can only be described as underwhelming performances.

In Paul Vs. Danis the latter was happy to plod forward with a high guard, occasionally flicking out a pathetic jab and rarely landing anything of significance throughout the contest. then when things got bad, Danis would try to mix in some grappling, before being untimely disqualified. While Paul weighs well over 200lbs, sporting a physique that explains all his steroid accusations, the American had no pop on his shots. Paul clearly won the contest, but his skills are that of a novice – far below where his raging ego believes he is.

Fury Vs. KSI was a tough watch, with KSI chose to do a poor impression of Michael ‘Venom’ Page, bouncing on his toes before throwing wildly. Then came the clinching.

KSI would elect to clinch constantly throughout the fight, ruining the chances of any sort of action happening. Fury was not much better, for a supposed professional boxer, he was poor and showed nothing special.

Darren Till reacts

Fans of combat sports took to social media on mass to criticize performances from the ‘crossover’ kings.

One of which was Darren Till, who was in the arena for the action and would not hold back on any of them. ‘The Gorilla’ then laid out his plans to ‘comatose’ one of them after he takes out Mike Perry.

Watched an absolute atrocity last night in the form of ‘boxing’

Logan is dog shit. Tommy is even more dog shit. KSI is dog shit. Dillon couldn’t even box eggs. No one won. Hell won cos we are living in it.
@PlatinumPerry was the only real fighter there last night & after I knockout him clean out, I would comatose all of the above. Bad. Real bad.
Goodnight, god bless.
The Gorilla
Congrats to @Misfitsboxing for the success of the show. The production n everything was pin point perfect. @SaurelandBros

Till and Perry are currently talking up a potential boxing clash between them,

Do you agree with Darren Till?

Jorge Masvidal blasts Dillon Danis after DQ loss to Logan Paul this is a disgrace to boxing

Sharing his thoughts on controversial grappling ace, Dillon Danis’ professional boxing bow against Logan Paul tonight in Manchester, former two-time UFC welterweight championship challenger, Jorge Masvidal has labelled the pair and the matchup, “a disgrace to boxing”.

Masvidal, revered for his striking ability – and particularly his boxing-heavy displays during his storied professional career, called time on his mixed martial arts run back in April at UFC 287, suffering a fourth consecutive loss in the form of a unanimous decision defeat to former title challenger, Gilbert Burns.

Turning his full attention to promoting and promotion work following his retirement from combat sports competition, Miami veteran, Masvidal has headed up Gamebred Fighting Championships in the time since.

Jorge Masvidal scoffs at Dillon Danis’ boxing match with Logan Paul

And tuning into tonight’s Misfits Boxing: The Prime Card in Manchester, England, Masvidal appeared to take major issue with Danis’ display against Paul, labelling the lacklustre pairing a “disgrace” to the sport and the squared circle.

“This a disgrace to boxing,” Jorge Masvidal posted on his official X account during the co-main event slot.

Ultimately disqualified in the final moments of his six round clash with Ohio native, Paul, Danis, who attempted to wrap up numerous submissions and even a double-leg takedown attempt on Paul during the bout, failed in a guillotine setup at the ropes.

Falling to the canvas, Danis was met with a hammer fist from a frustrated Paul, who himself was pucked at with a slew of upkick attempts, before both men took to the feet, with security members from Paul’s entourage entering the ring.

Dillon Danis and Logan Paul fight to disqualification as security storm the ring The Prime Card Highlights

Finally sharing the ring in a long-awaited grudge match, Logan Paul and Bellator MMA welterweight, Dillon Danis turned in a more than lacklustre performance over the course of six rounds en route to a decision — with security stormed the ring to prevent an all-out brawl in Manchester, England — in the co-main event of The Prime Card.

Paul, a professional wrestler under the WWE banner and podcast host, shared the ring with arch-enemy, 2-0 professional mixed martial arts fighter Danis, following months of tension and bad-blooded trash talk created from the latter.

Things between the two reach an almost crescendo before tonight’s co-headlining clash, with Paul split open and dealing with significant swelling on his eye after Danis threw a microphone at him during a heated pre-fight press conference.

However, tonight, inside the squared circle, Paul and Danis circled each other and attempted to counter in a truly lacklustre six-round pairing.

Outstirking a tame, Danis over the course of the bout, the New Jersey native attempted to wrap up multiple guillotine chokes on Ohio native, Paul — and even failed with a wayward double-leg takedown attempt in the four round of their clash.

And in the closing stages of the bout, Danis once more tried to wrap a guillotine choke on Paul, who shook off the grappling ace, and landed a hammer-fist, while eating a couple of upkicks in the process.

With both chasing each other as the referee evaded, teams of security stormed the ring as Paul was awarded a disqualification victory.

Dillon Danis spotted partying drinking in nightclub before Logan Paul fight Misfits Boxing

Just hours ahead of his professional boxing clash with arch-rival, Logan Paul tonight in Manchester, undefeated mixed martial arts fighter, Dillon Danis was allegedly taking in the city’s festivities, drinking inside a nightclub into the early hours in footage circulating across social media this morning.

Danis, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and decored submission grappler, boasts an undefeated 2-0 professional record, landing two back-to-back submission wins under the Scott Coker-led Bellator MMA banner back in 2019.

Sidelined in the time since, New Jersey native, Danis has undergone multiple surgical procedures to address a slew of continuous knee injuries, limiting his ability to make a return to combat sports competition.

Sharing a tense and bitter rivalry with the above-mentioned professional wrestler and podcaster, Paul ahead of tonight’s Misfits Boxing clash, Danis and the former got into a physical altercation during a pre-fight press conference earlier this week, with Paul suffering a laceration and significant swelling on his face after Danis threw a microphone at him.

Facing-off inside the confines of a glass cage last night following ceremonial weigh-ins, Danis and Paul continued to jaw at each other, as well as punching and kicking the perspex divider in a bid to lay hands on each other again.

Dillon Danis allegedly partied into the wee hours of Saturday morning

And this morning, just hours ahead of his expected ring walk against Ohio native, Paul, footage emerged of Danis seated alongside members of his entourage and numerous women, with what appears to be a platter of tequila shots on a table – with fans speculating the New Jersey native was partying the night before boxing Paul.

“Dillon Danis was in a bar at 1 am in Manchester last night and he’s fighting Logan Paul in less than 10 hours,” An X user posted this morning.

Up against the odds to defeat WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) star, Paul tonight, Danis has been backed by his teammate and friend, former two-weight UFC champion, Conor McGregor to defeat Paul, however, Canadian rapper, Drake has slapped a $850,000 wager on Paul to stop Danis by way of knockout.

Who wins tonight: Logan Paul or Dillon Danis?
