Logan Paul had another ace up his sleeve during the Misfits Boxing weigh-ins on Friday in the form of BJJ superstar Gordon Ryan.

Paul kicked things off by bringing Chris Hansen, the host of To Catch a Predator, on stage to help him complete a one-note joke that you can probably figure out without us fully explaining it. But the social media star was far from done, revealing that he had brought in jiu-jitsu’s top gun, Gordon Ryan, to make sure Danis doesn’t try any funny business once the two men step inside the squared circle on Saturday.

Dillon Danis is a coward, a predator, and I’m f*cking him up,” Paul said following his successful weigh-in. “I’m f*cking him up tomorrow. He’s a dirty a** fighter. I got all the goods in case he tries anything funny. In fact, I got Dillon Danis kryptonite in the building. You know, I brought the baddest dude in the world. I got Gordon Ryan to protect me in case he tries any jiu-jitsu bullsh*t. This man gonna f*ck you up tomorrow if you try to pull some sh*t.”

Gordon Ryan Reveals Why He’s in Manchester to Watch Paul vs. Danis

Asked by event host Ariel Helwani why he was there, Ryan said:

“Really I’m here just to retrieve Dillon because I need someone to clean my cars and he’s the one who usually does it. So I came all the way here just to retrieve him and bring him back home to Texas.”

The rivalry between Gordon Ryan and Dillon Danis dates back to 2017 when the two men met at the ADCC World Championships. Danis took Ryan to the limit and it appeared that things were fairly amicable between the two, but in recent years, Ryan has claimed that Danis’ BJJ record is largely manufactured.

Responding to Ryan’s presence in Manchester, Dillon Danis delivered a fiery response.

“That’s his steroid supplier,” Danis quipped. “That’s who that is. Two juice-heads. Gordon is a little b*tch. That’s why he’s selling out. He’s from Jersey and supports the other side. You’re a fcking dead man when you get back to Jersey you p*ssy a* b*tch.”

Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul goes down on Saturday with the Misfits Boxing main card kicking off a 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view.

Drake places eye watering $850,000 bet on Logan Paul to KO Dillon Danis in boxing match

Canadian rapper, Drake is certainly taking a keen interest in wagering on combat sports events in the last year – and has once more landed an eye-watering bet, this time on his this weekend’s Misfits boxing clash between arch-rivals, Logan Paul, and Dillon Danis.

Slated to co-headline a Misfits promoted boxing event in Manchester, England this weekend, professional wrestling star and podcast host, Paul takes on Bellator MMA welterweight and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, Danis in a professional boxing match.

And later that evening in the UK, professional boxer, Tommy Fury – the half-brother of current undisputed WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, takes on Paul’s business partner and fellow YouTuber and R&B star, KSI in a main event professional clash.

Parting with half a millon dollars just last month ahead of UFC 293 – Drake was left kissing his teeth after seeing his $500,000 wager on former two-time undisputed middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, ultimately fail.

Drake slaps $850,000 bet on Logan Paul to defeat Dillon Danis by KO

Betting on the City Kickboxing staple to successfully defend his middleweight title at the beginning of his second title reign – Drake watched on as Adesanya suffered a one-sided unanimous decision loss to the newly-crowned, Sean Strickland, with the latter turning one of the biggest upset victories in title fight history.

This weekend, Ohio native, Paul will be backed to the tune of $850,000 to defeat Danis by way of KO – which would see Drake returned a cool $1,351,500.

Reacting to news of Drake’s wager on Paul to defeat him, 2-0 professional mixed martial artist, Danis claimed he was disrespected by the apparent “low” money bet placed against him.

“850 on my head is disrespect,” Dillon Danis posted on his official X account

Yesterday, Danis’ fight with Paul was thrown into certain jeopardy after the pair’s heated pre-fight press conference, after Danis struck the former in the face with a microphone, resulting in a laceration, with Paul gushing blood as he was escorted off stage.

However, following official weigh-ins this morning in Manchester, Logan is steadfast in his claim that he will be standing opposite New Jersey native Danis tomorrow night, as the pair’s drawn-out grudge-match ramps up to a conclusion.

Logan Paul insists that his fight with Dillon Danis is still on.

The news comes on the heels of a recent report suggesting that the social media sensation could be out of Saturday’s massive co-main event clash after sustaining a cut during an altercation with Danis at a pre-fight press event. In the video, Paul appears to instigate the incident by launching a water bottle at Danis. The BJJ specialist reacted by throwing what appeared to be a microphone at Paul, causing a sizeable cut to open on the WWE Superstar’s right cheek.

Almost immediately, reports surfaced indicating that Logan Paul could be out of Saturday’s contest due to the cut. The rumors were further compounded when Danis engaged in a face-off with the bout’s official backup, ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry.

Logan Paul Insists the Show Will Go On

However, Paul was quick to quell the concerns of fans online, confirming that his fight with Dillon Danis is still going down at the AO Arena in Manchester.

“Dillon can’t escape me,” Paul wrote on X. “The fight is very much happening, the stakes just got higher.”

We’ll just add this to the laundry list of absolute insanity that has gone down ever since the fighters and their teams arrived in the U.K. for Misfits Boxing’s event this weekend. Since his arrival, Danis has been showing off his pro wrestling moves during the open workouts with the assistance of UFC fighter Phil Hawes and even choked out OnlyFans model and boxer Elle Brooke.

Not to be outdone, John Fury, the father of Tommy Fury who will be competing in Saturday’s main event, attempted to pick a fight with Logan Paul’s father after chucking a water bottle at his son’s opponent, KSI.

Needless to say, the circus is in full effect and the main attraction goes down on October 14 at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view.

In some ugly scenes this evening at their pre-fight press conference, bitter enemies and opponents, Logan Paul and Dillon Danis were corralled and escorted off stage in Manchester – after the latter appeared to hit the former in the face with a water bottle ahead of a planned face-off.

Slated to co-headline a MisFits boxing event in England, Bellator MMA grappler and 2-0 professional mixed martial artists, Danis makes a professional boxing debut in Manchester – taking on professional wrestler and podcast host, Paul in a bad-blooded clash inside the square circle.

Currently involved in legal proceedings with Paul’s fiancée, Nina Agdal ahead of the boxing match, Dillon Danis has continued to post expletive photos of the latter on his official social media, as well as a slew of pictures of her alongside prior boyfriends and partners, in a bid to promote his clash with Ohio native, Paul.

And sharing the stage today in a heated back-and-forth ahead of this weekend’s co-main event bout in Manchester, Danis – who showed off his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ability during last night’s openworks, appeared to launch a water bottle at the face of Paul ahead of a staredown, with Paul covering his head as the two were escorted off stage with security scuffling.

Sidelined from active competition since 2019, Danis, who has since undergone a series of surgical procedures to address a myriad of knee injuries, boasts a 2-0 professional mixed martial arts record, landing a pair of back-to-back submission wins in two outings with Bellator MMA.

Across social media last night to boot, footage emerged of Danis choking out OnlyFans model and boxing influencer, Elle Brook, who asked to be choked unconscious – before describing the feeling as “so much better than drugs”.

The BJJ specialist arrived in Manchester to take part in the Misfits Boxing open workouts ahead of his highly anticipated clash with social media sensation Logan Paul in the co-main event of ‘The PRIME Card’ on Saturday. While there, Danis had some fun by showing off his pro wrestling moves and choking out blonde bombshell Elle Brooke.

Fans Breathe a Sigh of Relief as Dillon Danis Turns Up in Manchester

We’re pretty sure nobody foresaw Dillon Danis delivering Swanton Bombs and choking out an OnlyFans model during the week’s festivities, but fight fans undeniably took a deep sigh of relief when he showed up in Manchester to take part in the promotion’s open workouts.

In recent weeks, there has been rampant speculation that Danis would either not show up, or be pulled from the event with the impending lawsuit against him courtesy of Logan Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. Fortunately, that does not appear to be the case though there is a fair amount of uncertainty about what will happen once the two men step inside the squared circle this weekend.

Dillon Danis vs. Logan Paul goes down this Saturday, live from the AO Arena in Manchester with the main card kicking off at 2 p.m. ET on DAZN pay-per-view.

Dillon Danis

Dillon Danis showed off some of his pro wrestling skills during Wednesday’s Misfits Boxing open workout.

Danis, who is scheduled to step into the squared circle for a co-main event grudge match with social media star Logan Paul, was in attendance at the open workouts ahead of ‘The PRIME Card’ on Saturday night. However, instead of offering onlookers a glimpse at his striking skills, Danis instead opted to show off his acrobatic skills by performing a few wrestling moves inside the ring.

With an assist from UFC middleweight fighter Phil Hawes, Danis delivered his take on wrestling superstar Jeff Hardy’s patented Swanton Bomb.

The pro wrestling moves were likely nothing more than Dillon Danis taking a shot at Logan Paul who is currently signed with the WWE and has appeared at multiple major events for the organization in recent years.

Dillon Danis Puts His BJJ Moves on Display Ahead of Boxing Match

Danis was also seen slamming Hawes to the mat multiple times while locking in joint locks, chokes, and at one point, an omoplata. Of course, none of these moves will be legal when he steps into the ring this weekend leaving those in attendance quite confused by the showing.

Perhaps Dillon Danis showing off his grappling skills at the open workout lends to Brendan Schaub’s belief that should things start to go sour for the BJJ specialist, he could choose to simply choke out Logan Paul in the middle of the boxing ring.

Danis has been nothing short of unpredictable in the weeks building up to his fight with Logan Paul, leading many to expect utter chaos when (and if) he actually steps into the ring. Danis will be competing for the first time in more than four years, having last competed under the Bellator banner in June 2019.
