YouTube star Jake Paul wrote a poem in response Floyd Mayweather suggesting they will fight later this year.

‘Money’ took to social media last night to reveal he is planning to take part in three exhibition bouts in 2021. The boxing legend said his postponed fight with Logan Paul will go ahead as planned. Mayweather also suggested Jake Paul and 50 Cent as potential opponents.

Paul got wind of the call out and directed the following poem at Mayweather.

“Dear Mr Mayweather, who runs your Instagram? They need to get paid better Do us a favour and stay off social media,” Paul said on social media. “You should focus on learning to read, retirement or maybe an encyclopedia. You call me out to fight, but you’re half my height. You might beat my brother but Jake Paul is a different type. F*** your proposition, I don’t to exhibitions. We can fight on my conditions. 50-50 commissions. Oh and we haven’t forgotten you tried training Nate to beat me. I left him on conscious on the canvas. Let’s hope you’re not that easy. A quick NBA knockout – he’s never boxing again. Speaking of NBA, who knocked up your daughter my friend? After I KO Askren on Triller April 17. I would love to fight you Floyd and punch you in those fake veneer ass teeth.”

Mayweather quickly responded to his “biggest fan” with the following.

“Jake Paul is talking about he don’t do exhibitions, them two bullshit boxing matches he had were exhibitions,” Mayweather wrote. “They were not against real professional boxers. And I don’t even play when it comes to education because millions of blacks got lynched just for reading. Let me see, you went to get a black boxing trainer, try to dress like you’re black, wear jewelry like black people, try to dance like black people, but you don’t want to be BLACK. All you do is jack black swag from us. You go from groupie fan to a fake professional fighter, this world is crazy.”

YouTube celebrity Jake Paul has already began smack talking his next opponent, Ben Askren and his wife Amy Askren.

Paul transitioned to boxing in 2020 and enjoyed great success against extremely low-level opponents. The 24-year-old most notably knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. He has since turned his attention to facing MMA fighters.

Last week it was announced Paul will face off against former Bellator and ONE Championship titleholder Askren in his third professional boxing match-up.

Askren is mostly known for his elite-level wrestling. He will end his retirement on April 17 and box professionally for the first time live on Triller pay-per-view.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Paul admitted he had been DM’ing his opponent’s wife.

“I’ve been DM’ing his (Ben Askren’s) wife a little bit on Instagram but I haven’t been talking to Ben at all,” Paul said. “She called me handsome so, I don’t know, seems kind of crazy. Who knows what’s going on over in the Askren house right now.”

Paul later called Amy Askren ‘thicc’ and suggested after the fight he may steal his opponents wife.

“She’s thicc, with lke two c’s – t-h-i-c-c,” Paul told Ariel Helwani.. “Thicc like she’s real thicc. So, I don’t know, like, I just thought she’s bad. I don’t know. I mean, maybe after I beat Ben. I don’t know.”

‘Funky’ laughed off the “awkward” smack talk.

“This is laugh out loud awkward!!! But yes @jakepaul I find my wife very attractive also LOL,” Askren wrote on social media.

Askren later asked his wife about her newfound internet fame and how she felt about being described as ‘thicc’ – check out what she had to say below.

Marvin Vettori Says Jake Paul Fight Is ‘Bullsh*t’, Disrespectful To Fighters

Count Marvin Vettori among those who aren’t too happy to see all the press surrounding Jake Paul.

Paul, a YouTube star, recently announced a boxing match against Ben Askren, a former UFC contender and champion in both Bellator and ONE. This will be the third boxing match of his career, after picking up knockouts over ex-NBA All-Star Nate Robinson and fellow internet celebrity AnEnsonGib. The amount of exposure and opportunities Paul has received so early into his career has rubbed many in the boxing and MMA communities the wrong way, especially given Paul’s antics towards his fellow competitors.

If a recent Tweet is anything to go by, Vettori is just the latest in a long line of fighters who have grown tired of seeing Paul.

“This Jake Paul bulls— is so disrespectful to all the real fighters,” Vettori wrote. “F— whoever is always trying to take shortcuts in this game. Hope I had the chance to punk this b—- in any training or fight. Blood sweat and tears is what this game is about and he’s none of this.”

Despite all the hate that is – perhaps justifiably – casted towards Paul, it’s not as though he doesn’t have his proponents. Welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal, who owns a five-second knockout over Askren, has been helping the YouTuber prepare for his fight. As well, UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently heaped praise on Paul, saying he believes the internet star has “very good striking technique.”

Regardless of how he feels about Paul, Vettori would probably be better off focusing on the challenges in front of him. ‘The Italian Dream’ is looking to build off an impressive 2020 that saw him earn victories over Karl Roberson and Jack Hermansson, and is expected to face former welterweight title challenger Darren Till on April 10. Vettori has only lost twice since joining the UFC ranks, including a split-decision loss to current 185-pound champ Israel Adesanya. A win over Till could go a long way to getting him his long sought after rematch against ‘The Last Stylebender’.

Joe Rogan Heaps Praise On Jake Paul Ahead Of Ben Askren Fight

UFC commentator Joe Rogan is impressed by Jake Paul’s boxing ability.

The Youtube star transitioned to the sport last year and has enjoyed success against extremely low-level opponents. Most notably Paul knocked out former NBA player Nate Robinson on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. on November 28.

Since then he has been pursuing an MMA fighter for his third professional boxing bout. Paul went after SBG teammates Conor McGregor and Dillon Danis but was unable to secure either man.

In steps retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren. ‘Funky’ was mostly known for his elite-level wrestling before walking away from the sport after suffering back-to-back defeats against Jorge Masvidal and Demian Maia. He’ll make his boxing debut against Paul on April 17 in the headline spot of a Triller pay-per-view event.

Former UFC heavyweight Brendan Schaub firmly believes Askren will beat Paul. Rogan isn’t too sure that will be the case. Despite being a big ‘Funky’ fan Rogan questioned how Askren would adapt to his biggest weapon taken away.

“[Ben Askren] is strong as f**k. He knows how to grab ahold of guys, and drag them to the ground and implement his style,” Rogan said on his podcast. “He won’t be able to do that. His main thing will be out. His main thing will be completely removed.”

Paul has been criticized by many in the MMA community but Rogan has been impressed by the youngster. The UFC legend believes Paul has some genuine skills that could cause a real fighter such as Askren problems.

“You can watch [Jake Paul] hit the bag, watch him hit pads, watch him spar — he’s got good timing, he’s got very good hand speed, his technique is excellent,” Rogan said. “He’s got very good striking technique.” (Transcribed by TMZ Sports)

Do you agree with Joe Rogan? Does Jake Paul have “very good striking technique?”

It appears Jake Paul is serious about knocking out Ben Askren quicker than Jorge Masvidal did.

It was recently announced that Paul would face Askren in an eight-round boxing match on April 17. To make matters even more interesting, the popular YouTuber claimed he would knock Askren out quicker than Masvidal did and would even train with the latter.

“We’re here in Miami training. I wanted to channel Masvidal’s energy since he’s in Florida. I wanted to link up with Masvidal,” Paul said. “I’m linking up with Masvidal tomorrow. Yeah, he’s gonna help me train for this fight and hopefully I can knock Ben (Askren) out faster than Masvidal did. I know it seems like a lofty goal but if I can get under 4.9 seconds then I can break his record.”

Masvidal, of course, made headlines when he knocked out Askren in just five seconds with a flying knee that went viral during the summer of 2019. It is also notably the quickest knockout in UFC history.

However, Paul was serious about breaking his record as he posted a video of him training a quick knockout punch along with Masvidal. He also claimed Nate Diaz would be next.

“He knocked out my opponent @benaskren in 5 seconds and now will help me do it in less time.. @gamebredfighter is teaching me his secrets… April 17th the fight will last less than 4 seconds and then we coming for @natediaz209”

Whether he meant for himself in a boxing match or a rematch between Masvidal and Diaz remain to be seen.

Regardless, what do you make of Paul training with Masvidal and his plans of breaking his knockout record?
