Vitor Belfort has opened as a betting favorite over Jake Paul.
Belfort enjoyed a first-round TKO win over Evander Holyfield in their Triller Fight Club headliner on Saturday night. Following the victory, Belfort called out Paul for a boxing match with Triller offering a $30 million winner take all matchup.
Paul hasn’t responded to the callout as of yet, but oddsmakers have.
As per SportsBetting.ag, Belfort has opened as a -180 favorite in a potential matchup with Paul. The YouTuber-turned-boxer, meanwhile, is a +150 underdog.
This essentially means one would have to bet $180 to make a $100 profit on Belfort winning while a $100 bet on a Paul win would net $150 in profit.
All in all, this shouldn’t be much of a surprise.
While Belfort is 44 years of age, he is a much bigger and more aggressive opponent that Paul’s recent opponent in former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley.
Additionally, with the seeming lack of drug testing, Belfort is a much different fighter compared to the one who lost his last few fights in the UFC.
It will be interesting to see if Paul accepts the challenge or decides to ignore it in favor of a fight with Tommy Fury.

Belfort competed on the Sept. 11 Triller card. He went one-on-one with 58-year-old boxing legend Evander Holyfield. Belfort was simply too fast and at this point in his life, too athletic for Holyfield. “The Phenom” scored a first-round TKO finish.
Trump was on commentary with Jorge Masvidal and Junior dos Santos for the gamecast version of the event. After the fight, Trump praised Belfort (via MMAJunkie.com).
“You are some fighter. I have to tell you, you have a couple of friends between Jorge and Junior, and my son, my ‘junior,’ they said you’re going to do fantastically well…I said, ‘Well, but boxing’s not his thing.’ Junior said, ‘Yes it is, you just watch.’”
The former POTUS then said Belfort defeated one of the greatest boxing heavyweights of all time.
“Vitor, your stock was very high, but it’s even higher tonight because you beat somebody who is, I don’t know, I think probably one of the greatest of all time. There’s no question about Evander and we love Evander. I know Evander, and I’ve never seen that happen to Evander. I’ve been with Evander a long time and it’s just one of those things, you were really fantastic.”
Donald Trump even suggested that Belfort shares the ring with Masvidal. That doesn’t appear to be in Triller’s sights, however. After Belfort defeated Holyfield, he called out YouTuber Jake Paul. Triller’s Ryan Kavanaugh said there’s a $30 million winner takes all offer for Paul to fight Belfort.
Paul has dealt with Triller twice before but he signed a deal with Showtime Sports for his most recent outing with Tyron Woodley. The Internet sensation has been taking aim at Tommy Fury, the brother of WBC Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, as of late.

A massive offer is on the table for Jake Paul to fight Vitor Belfort.
Belfort was in action on Sept. 11. He took on 58-year-old Evander Holyfield in the main event of a Triller card. This was a boxing match.
It was clear that Holyfield was having trouble dealing with Belfort’s speed and aggression. Belfort dropped Holyfield in the first round. The “Real Deal” beat the count and while he wasn’t really hurt badly in the fight, the referee knew things were going downhill fast and stopped the fight.
After the bout, Belfort laid down a stern challenge to Jake Paul.

“We got $25 million, the winner takes all. Let’s go. Hey, Jake Paul, stop running from me man. I’m gonna teach you a lesson. You can be my kid. You’re gonna meet daddy over here at Triller. Stop running, you a little b*tch.”
Triller’s Ryan Kavanaugh then clarified that the offer to Paul is actually for $30 million.
“Triller’s Ryan Kavanaugh is proposing a $30 million, winner take all fight between Jake Paul and Vitor Belfort on Thanksgiving night.”
Paul is a popular YouTuber who has dabbled into the world of combat sports. In his last two boxing matches, Paul has beaten former MMA world champions. Those victories came against Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.
Paul once worked with Triller for his bouts against former NBA star Nate Robinson and Askren. For his bout with Woodley, Paul signed with Showtime Sports. It’s clear that Triller wants back in the Jake Paul sweepstakes.
As of late, Paul has been turning his attention to Tommy Fury. The two have been trading barbs on social media. Fury competed on the same card Paul headlined against Woodley. Backstage after the event, Paul and Fury had to be separated by security after a run-in.
