With their new TV deal in place, Bellator has turned its attention to Season 4, which according to CEO Bjorn Rebney, will kick off in March 2011.
On Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour, Rebney announced that the organization will feature a light heavyweight, welterweight, lightweight and featherweight tournament in their upcoming season.
This will mark the first time the organization holds a 205-pound division tournament, and while no names have officially been announced for it, Rebney hinted that Daniel Gracie and Raphael Davis will be a part of the eight-man field.

"I’m still thinking (on fighting in Rio). But I’m always training. This return of UFC to Brazil touched me, made me feel the wish of coming back to the Octagon. Everything has being negotiated with Dana White. Let’s wait and see." — UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie
Not to say that the UFC’s first superstar shouldn’t have some sort of ceremonial role at the UFC’s return to Brazil next August…but fighting? Let’s nip that shit in the bud, pronto. The last time Royce set foot in the Octagon, he was smashed by Matt Hughes in a brutal passing of the torch back at UFC 60. His next (and still most recent) performance was a June 2007 revenge match against Kazushi Sakuraba, which ended in a decision win and a one-year steroid suspension.

MMA veterans Ricco Rodriguez, Jeff Monson and Frank Trigg walked through their opponents Tuesday at the inaugural Israel FC card at the Nokia Arena in Tel-Aviv.
In the main event, Rodriguez controlled KSW and Bellator veteran Daniel Tabera with takedown after takedown en route to the unanimous decision. Following the three-round affair, the former UFC heavyweight champ Rodriguez pitched a fight against Monson.
“I think both of us at 205,” said Rodriguez, who picked up his tenth straight victory. “He won one, I won one, we should do it again.”
