Dana White

Despite being a constant target for Jake Paul, Dana White holds no ill will toward the social media sensation.

Paul has been a massive advocate for fighter pay in recent years, a stance that has seen him regularly target Dana White, calling out the UFC President in a variety of ways. Most recently, ‘The Problem Child’ took aim at White after tenured UFC standout Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson revealed that he has not received his show money for UFC 291 despite not stepping inside the Octagon.

Though he’s regularly the butt of Jake Paul’s jokes online, Dana White has no animosity with the Youtuber-turned-pro-boxer.

“I don’t f*cking hate Jake Paul,” White said on a recent episode of “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.” “Jake Paul is one of those guys that he’s a young kid, and he’s just trying to get attention. He’s always looking for attention and, he’s doing his thing. Whatever – it’s all good.”

Jake Paul recently added another mixed martial artist to his growing hit list, dispatching former UFC star Nate Diaz via unanimous decision in an entertaining 10-round boxing match at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. ‘The Problem Child’ moved to 7-1 in his combat sports career and bounced back after suffering his first loss against Tommy Fury in February.

Dana White Lauds the Brilliance of Logan Paul

While he may not have a strong opinion on Jake Paul, Dana White is an admittedly big fan of his older brother, Logan Paul.

“The brother is f*cking brilliant,” White said. “I mean, the brother’s f*cking raking in big dough. Logan Paul is a businessman. This kid’s really making some big moves, and KSI too. Those kids are making real money and doing their thing,” (h/t MMA Junkie).

Earlier this year, Logan Paul revealed that his brainchild, PRIME Hydration, would become the official sports drink of the UFC.

Logan Paul has been an active member of the WWE roster over the last year but on October 19, he will make his return to the squared circle for a boxing match with embattled BJJ standout Dillon Danis. The pair are scheduled to co-headline a Misfits boxing event in Manchester, England. The main event is expected to feature Paul’s PRIME business partner KSI as he returns to the ring to take on Tommy Fury.

Dillon Danis

It will cost embattled BJJ standout Dillon Danis a pretty penny if he decides to back out of his October boxing match with social media star Logan Paul.

On Tuesday, the elder Paul brother revealed that he would be featured in the co-main event of an upcoming Misfits boxing card at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. The WWE Superstar is scheduled to take on perhaps the most disliked man in mixed martial arts, Dillon Danis, as part of ‘The PRIME Card’ which will be headlined by a fight between KSI and Tommy Fury.

From the very second that the bout was announced, fans were immediately skeptical as to whether or not the fight would even come to fruition. Dillon Danis has regularly teased fights and called out fighters on social media, but has declined to actually step inside the ring or a cage to back up his words. Earlier this year, Danis was scheduled to scrap with KSI, but he pulled out one week before fight night.

Revealing details about the fight on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul confirmed that there is a “pull-out clause” in the contract forcing Danis to pony up $100,000 should be back out of the bout without a legitimate reason.

“I’m convinced he’s not going to show up,” Paul said. “The clause is this: If he pulls out because of some sort of injury that he fakes, a doctor of our choosing has to verify the injury. And then if he is indeed faking it, he has to pay $100,000. There is a pull-out clause.”

Dillon Danis has not competed since 2019 when he scored his second-straight first-round submission victory under the Bellator MMA banner. Despite the lack of action, Danis has still managed to establish himself as one of the most obnoxious personalities in combat sports thanks to his often ridiculous call-outs online. Unfortunately, being a keyboard warrior doesn’t pay the bills for most people.

“He’s broke,” Paul said. “This guy sucks. He’s a parasite of the MMA and combat world. That’s why I took the fight initially. If he does show up, I get to be the one. I get to be the one to take an eraser and remove him from existence. His name will never be uttered again. He’ll die that night, twice.”

Chances are, Dillon Danis doesn’t have the kind of coin he would need to comfortably back out of the bout, but fans, and even Logan Paul, will likely remain skeptical until he is actually standing inside the ring with a pair of eight-ounce gloves on.

As per a press release, a boxing match between YouTuber and podcast host, Logan Paul, and Bellator MMA welterweight grappler, Dillon Danis, is set to take co-main event honors on a DAZN pay-per-view event on October 14. from Manchester, England – as part of a MisFits x DAZN X Series card.

Paul, the elder brother of now 7-1 professional boxer, Jake Paul, will make his return to the squared circle for the first time since he battled former undisputed world champion, Floyd Mayweather back in June 2021 in Florida.

As for Danis, the outspoken grappling talent has yet to compete in combat sports since June 2019 under the Bellator MMA banner, where he moved to 2-0 in professional mixed martial arts courtesy of a first round armbar submission win over Max Humphey.

Logan Paul is set for a return to boxing against debutante, Dillon Danis

In the time since, the decorated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace has been sidelined through a slew of debilitating knee injuries, and is best-known for his role in multiple camps alongside former undisputed UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, Conor McGregor.

Atop the October card in England, the aforenoted Paul’s business partner, fellow YouTuber and rapper, K.S.I. (real name Olajide Olatunji) will take headlining honors in a clash against professional boxer, Tommy Fury – the half-brother of current WBC heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, who is fresh from a February main event win over the aforenoted Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia.

0-1 as a professional, Logan Paul featured in just one professional match prior to his exhibition showing with Mayweather, dropping a split decision loss to the previously mentioned, K.S.I. in November 2019, in a rematch of a prior amateur fight.

Yet to make the walk in professional boxing, the aforenoted, Danis was scheduled to feature in an exhibition bout against K.S.I. in January of this year at Wembley Stadium in England, however, according to a MisFits promoter, the New Jersey grappler was forced to withdraw from the matchup due to a lack of preparation.

And attempting to capitalize on suggestions of a potential future fight between Twitter owner, Musk, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, Zuckerberg – Paul has offered to make his debut in professional mixed martial arts on a proposed card featuring the duo, taking on Liverpool prospect, Pimblett.

“I’ll be honest, I pitched it,” Logan Paul said on his podcast. “I pitched it internally, I pitched it to the [executives] that be, if Elon Musk and (Mark) Zuckerberg, I will do my UFC debut on the undercard, I’ll fight for free, for charity.”

“You know who I want to fight actually cause that b*tch ass Andrew Tate won’t fight me,” Logan Paul claimed. “Give me Paddy Pimblett. Give me ‘Paddy the Baddy’. In the offseason, that boy looks like a blimp and he’ll come up to my weight class and I’ll wallop him. He’s too small when he cuts weight. When he doesn’t cut weight he’s a f*cking horseshoe.”

Sidelined since co-headlining UFC 282 back in December of last year, polarizing former Cage Warriors featherweight champion, Pimblett remained unbeaten since moving to the Dana White-led promotion – securing a hugely-controversial decision win over Queens native, Jared Gordon.

Logan Paul is officially done with BJJ after spending the morning sparring with reigning UFC featherweight champion and pound-for-pound great Alexander Volkanovski.

On Saturday, July 8, Volkanovski will return to the Octagon for a highly anticipated clash with interim titleholder Yair Rodriguez as part of this year’s International Fight Week festivities. Weeks away from his second appearance of 2023, Volkanovski sat down with the social media sensation to discuss what exactly makes ‘The Great’ so great. During their conversation, Logan Paul revealed that the two engaged in a sparring session earlier that morning, and by the sounds of it, things did not go well for the WWE Superstar.

You’re the best in the world at what you do. I got to experience it this morning,” Paul said during a recent episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast.

“It’s like I knew it. I knew it going into it. I’ve said it on this very podcast before I even knew you, and one of the first fights that I saw of you that impressed me,” Paul continued. “I had the feeling, the instinct to speak on it because I could tell how fiery you were. I think it was actually the first time you popped on the scene for me. I’m usually a little late on the bandwagon, but man, you are so strong and dominant, and you put me in a body lock, and I feel like you could’ve tightened your legs so much and just literally split me in half. I’m not doing BJJ again.”

Alexander Volkanovski, alongside City Kickboxing teammate and fellow UFC champion Israel Adesanya, recently became the first official athletes of Logan Paul’s PRIME energy drink.

Alexander Volkanovski Shares His Secret to Becoming One of the Best Fighters in the World

Asked what drives him to be one of the best fighters in the world, Volkanovski believes it’s all a matter of working hard and having a penchant for problem-solving when stuck in a tight situation like the one he found himself in against Brian Ortega.

“I think I’ve always been like a Brazilian dude. Durable, strong. Obviously, my techniques [are] updated now as well. Like software. I’m very well-rounded. My striking, I’ve always been gritty and hard-working. So that was a good example of it,” Volkanovski said, referencing his UFC 266 fight with Brian Ortega. “Because a lot of people are like, ‘What made you the champ? What made you who you are today?’

“I just point at that, pretty much. Like, that’s the guy. That’s the guy that turns up in the gym every time. A never give up attitude. Problem-solving is like, f*ck, just do what you got to do to get out f*cking this and I won’t look for any other option other than do something f*cking about it. That’s how I’ve always been.”

Alexander Volkanovski will have another big problem to solve next month as he steps back into the main event spotlight for a title unification showdown with Yair Rodriguez. Hailing from Mexico, a country that has seen a slew of UFC champions emerge from the shadows in recent years, Rodriguez scored the biggest win of his career in February, finishing heavy-hitting featherweight standout Josh Emmett at UFC 284 to claim the interim crown.

On July 8, ‘El Pantera’ will attempt to trade in his interim title for undisputed gold as he meets the No. 2 ranked P4P fighter in the world.

Logan Paul

WWE Superstar Logan Paul sat down with reigning UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya to share a rather lofty goal that the social media sensation has dreamed of achieving.

Paul, alongside his brother Jake Paul, became two of the biggest names in combat sports over the last few years. Before becoming a hit in the world of sports entertainment, Logan Paul went toe-to-toe with undefeated boxing legend Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather and recently announced a deal with the UFC, making his PRIME brand the official sports drink of the Las Vegas-based promotion. Appearing on the latest episode of his IMPAULSIVE podcast with one of PRIME’s official athletes, Israel Adesanya, Paul revealed that he has dreams of capturing world championships in three different sports, holding them all simultaneously.

“I had this idea one day. I said to myself, I don’t think there’s ever been a simultaneous WWE, UFC, and boxing champion at the same time,” Paul said before elaborating further. “Here’s what happened: in my head, I’m an optimist, I’m an idealist, I have visions in the shower, too. I said to myself… I could probably do WWE, I feel confident I can get a WWE championship. I’m confident I could do it. Boxing, one of the lower-tier? There’s a 100 different (belts), what is a real boxing championship nowadays?

With his undeniable popularity among WWE fans and a plethora of boxing titles surrounding the sport, the first two are certainly feasible. However, capturing a UFC championship would be a much more difficult task for the 28-year-old entrepreneur.

“I ran into a problem with the UFC championship because you! Because you’ve got the belt,” Paul said speaking to Adesanya directly. “I won’t do it!

Israel Adesanya Has Great Respect For What Logan Paul Does

Responding to Logan Paul’s high-aiming aspiration, Adesanya admitted that in the early going, he was not a fan of Paul or the fact that he was set to square Floyd Mayweather in the squared circle. But as the fight grew closer and time went on, ‘The Last Stylebender’ became more fond of Paul and the hard work he put into everything he does.

“I like you, I respect what you’re doing,” Adesanya said. “Because against all odds, against the naysayers saying you can’t because they don’t even know your background, you still say ‘f*ck it, imma do it anyway. And you did it. Even (the Floyd Mayweather) fight, I was not excited for that fight. I was like ‘What the f*ck is that? What the f*ck.’ You should not be in the ring with him.’

“But, guess what? You were. And I found myself the day before getting excited,” Adesanya concluded (h/t BJPenn.com).

Logan Paul can absolutely see himself taking a fight inside the UFC someday, but becoming a champion is probably something we will never see. Of course, that doesn’t mean Paul can’t achieve his dream of becoming an MMA champion, it just won’t be inside the Octagon.
